• Applicants contact the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) to start Match registration and fellowship application process. The AAFPRS office will provide applicants with a fellowship handbook, which includes important deadline dates.
  

• Fellowship Directors begin interviewing fellowship applicants.
  

• ALL rank lists must be in our office by 12:00 PM (PST).
Late rank lists will not be accepted. Applicants may call our office 24 hours after we should have received your rank list in order to get a telephone confirmation.

• Programs are emailed match results. Match applicants are generally contacted the same day.

• All applicants who do not yet know their result may call our office to receive it directly. Dial (415) 447-0350 and press '0' at the opening menu to speak with a Match Representative (between 8am - 4pm PST).
• Results are also mailed to applicants and programs.
  

• Any post-match vacancies which remain after the match will be announced on our Vacancy Information System. We only list vacancies of programs which have indicated that they will accept applications for their unfilled positions.
• Applicants who did not match may begin applying to these positions by negotiating directly with the programs regarding any documentation that they require.
  

• Facial Plastic Fellowship begins.
