CAS StepsThe Central Application Service distributes applications to residency
training programs. All you have to do is fill out ONE universal application
form, gather ONE copy of each of the appropriate documents, and mail
your entire package to CAS. Applications are distributed electronically
to programs.
Step 1: Download the CAS Instruction Manual. Step 2: Download, fill and print your CAS Application Form. Step 3: Gather all required documents and mail your complete application to SF Match. Step 4: Login to your SF Match account, select the programs you wish to apply from "My Programs" and click on "Apply to Programs" to submit your distribution choices. Step 5: Login to your SF Match account to check the status of your application. Please note that at peak times distribution turnaround time can take up to 3 weeks, given that your application is considered complete and you have submitted your distribution choices. Certain supplemental documents can be distributed separately at no additional charge. Please refer to the CAS Instruction Manual to see the list of acceptable supplemental documents. You may also apply to additional programs after your initial distribution by login into your SF Match account.
