to faciliate the distribution of your CAS applications to the plastic surgery
programs of your choice. Please include a detailed letter that includes an
approximate date of when you expect the FVCS physician profile to arrive
at our office. Explanation letters must be forwarded by hard copy to
655 Beach

Plastic Surgery Residency Match
The Plastic Surgery Residency Matching Program (PSMP) was established by
the Association of Academic Chairmen of Plastic Surgery to coordinate appointments
for Plastic Surgery Residency programs and to relieve the pressure on applicants
and program directors resulting from early appointments and uncoordinated
appointment dates. This match is for plastic surgery training after three
or more years of general surgery experience.
Sponsorship
The Association of Academic Chairmen of Plastic Surgery sponsors the matching process and
is responsible for enforcement at applicable rules. The Matching office
does not sponsor or approve any of the participating programs. The function
of the Matching Program is strictly limited to processing of the match.
Listing or not listing of any program in the directory does not imply any
form of approval, disapproval or endorsement. The decision to be listed
or not rests solely with each individual Program Director.
About the Match
The PSMP Match takes place in May and will be used to process all applicants
who want to start their plastic surgery residency training in July of the
following year. There
is $50 non-refundable registration fee for the same. To participate in the
match, simply complete our on-line registration form and submit your payment.
Once registered, applicants will receive email confirmation and
