POSITION: Offering a post-residency fellowship (clinical + research) position to begin, 07/31/12.

PREREQUISITES: MD or DO Physician who will be completing an orthopedic surgery residency in a US accredited GME program, with eligibility for board certification.

Receptive to IMGs?: Yes

IMG PREREQUISITES: Completion of a five-year US accredited orthopedic surgery residency program, with eligibility for board certification.

ADD'L INFO: The University of Oklahoma's Trauma Fellowship of Oklahoma is a University based program, for which the primary teaching site is a private hospital with a Level 2 trauma center.  With no orthopedic surgery residency at this location, the fellow is allowed the opportunity to participate in any and all cases. The Trauma Fellowship is a one-year program designed to prepare an orthopaedic surgeon for a career in orthopaedic traumatology and post-traumatic reconstructive surgery, in either a full-time academic setting or private practice. Fellows will have the opportunity to complete a research project if they so choose.  We are interested in candidates who are completing a five-year orthopedic surgery residency in a US program, and will be eligible for board certification.
