Offering a post-residency fellowship clinical position to begin on
07/31/10.
PREREQUISITES: Must be board-eligible graduates of orthopedic surgery
and neurosurgery training programs. International medical graduates
must have completed ECFMG requirements prior to interview.
This will provide a well-rounded experience involving all aspects of
spine surgery. We offer exposure to a wide range of spine pathology
and surgical techniques including anterior and posterior decompression,
and instrumentation and microsurgery at all levels of the spine. Clinical
responsibilities will be divided among five staff spinal surgeons.
Fellow will assume progressive responsibility in preoperative assessment,
surgical care, postoperative management, & follow-up evaluation
of patients. Clinical & basic science research opportunities are
available & encouraged.
