Ophthalmology Residency: PGY-2 2011

DESCRIPTION: Offering a PGY-2 position to start on July 1, 2011.

PREREQUISITES: Completion of preliminary PGY1 year in ACGME accredited surgery, internal medicine, or transitional year by June 30, 2011.

Yale's fully accredited program was recently approved by the ACGME RRC to expand to a complement of 15 total residents, five per year. Therefore, we have one PGY2 position available July 1, 2011. Yale seeks to train future leaders in both clinical and academic ophthalmology.

DESCRIPTION: Offering a PGY-3 position to start on July 1, 2010.

PREREQUISITES: Completion of preliminary year PGY 1 in ACGME accredited surgery, internal medicine, or transitional year. Must have PGY 2 year completed in ACGME accredited ophthalmology training program. Must show successful passed USMLE steps 1, 2 and 3. Must have a valid United States Medical license without past discipline. Must be a United States Citizen.

Our fully accredited program offers the applicant ability to train in a productive, outstanding group of facilities in a strong academic environment. We offer an energetic cohesive group of residents and fellows to work alongside under the direct supervision of outstanding faculty.
